She" died Friday, Aug.

13, 1982, at the home of her daughter in Springfield. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. She was born March 28, 1913, in Benton to Frank and Anna Nowi-kowski. She married Joe Kmiecik, who preceded her in death in 1974. She was a member of Christ The King Church in Springfield. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Palic of Springfield; sister, Mary Nowikowski of Benton; brother, Wallace Nowikowski of Benton.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers. Ernest Daniel Winn Funeral service will be -at 1:30 p.m. today at the Jonesboro Pentecostal Church for Ernest Daniel Winn, 78, formerly of Jonesboro, who died at 3:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 1982, at his home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, west of Dongola. Friends may call until time of service at Norris and Sons Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Mr. Winn was a retired carpenter and a member of the Jonesboro Pentecostal Church.

He was born Feb. 12, 1904, in Union County to Charles and Molly Fox Winn. He married Elnora Perkins on Aug. 11, 1922, in Jonesboro. She survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Rastl of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Robert of Anna, Lawrence of Cape Girardeau and Earl of Mill Creek; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. deaths down Quoin recorded 10 fatalities in July, an increase from 1981 in Southern Illinois. today at the Schwebel Funeral Home in Pinckneyville. Mrs. Nehring was a member of the St. Marks United Church of Christ in Du Bois. She was a Sunday school teacher and treasurer and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Du Bois Center Auxiliary.

She was born on May 6, 1904, in Perry County, to August and Matilda Schunaier Jausel. She was married to Otto Nehring, who preceded her in death in June 1962. Survivors include one son, Art Nehring of Rice; one daughter, Doris Porter, also of Rice; nine grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Frank Corrigan Former Marion resident Frank Corrigan of Roswell, N.M. died at 8 a.m.

Thursday, Aug. 12, 1982, at St. Mary's Hospital in Roswell. He was 72. He was a retired engineer for the Chicago Transit Authority and a member of the Catholic faith.

He was born May 4, 1910, in Illinois to Mr. and Mrs. John Corrigan. He married Henrietta Heeg in 1949 in Las Vegas. She survives.

Also surviving are daughters Joyce Smith of Marion, Joan Sullivan of Elk Grove, Maryann Straton of Lindenhurst and Pat Clark of Long Beach, son, William Skinner of Long Beach, 13 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. Lilliam Webb Fred Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher, with burial in the Harrison Cemetery in Buckner for Lilliam Webb Fred, 76, of Coello, who died at 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 1982, in the Union Hospital in West Frankfort.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime. Mr. Fred was a member of the First Baptist Church of Christopher. She was born on Aug. 1, 1906, in De Soto, to John and Josie Gadboys Ryan.

She was married to Lloyd Fred. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1976. Survivors include one son, Robert Webb of Creal Springs; one daughter, Shirley Nash of Chicago; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marguarette Isom of Christopher; two brothers, Albert Ryan of Aurora, and John David Ryan of Belleville. Anton "Tony" Mrzlack Anton "Tony' Mrzlack, 89, of Coul-terville died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1982, at the Randolph County Nursing Home in Sparta.

He was a retired meat cutter from the St. Louis area and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Coulterville. He was born June 6, 1893, in Yugoslavia to Steven and Julia Shulock Mrzlack. He married Golda Porter on Oct.

14, 1934, in Waterloo. Survivors include his wife; two nephews, John and Mike Chukorin of St. Louis; a great-nephew, two great-nieces and a great-great-niece. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Pyatt Funeral Home in Coulterville.

Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Coulterville Cemetery. Dimple Norman Dimple Norman, 89, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1982, in Pasadena, Calif. She was a long-time resident of Car-bondale and lived the past 20 years in California. Memorial services were held Aug.

10 in First United Methodist Church, Pasadena, Calif. She is survived by one son, Donald, of Cambria; two daughters, Eloise, of Pasadena, and Helen Humphrey, of St. Clair, four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, a former news dealer in Carbondale. Matthew "Mack" Surgalski Funeral service will be at 1 p.m.

Monday at Johnson Funeral Home in Herrin for Matthew "Mack" Surgalski, 68, of Freeman Spur who died at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 1982, at the VA Medical Center in Marion after a short illness. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Freeman Spur Cemetery. Mr. Surgalski was a retired employee of Allen Industries in Herrin and a veteran of World War II. He was born March 26, 1914, to Hyploit and Mary Ann Kunarzewski Surgalski. He married Virginia Rich on Oct.

14, 1950, at Piggott, Ark. Surviving are his wife; son, Larry of Freeman Spur; daughter, Margaret Sanders of Cape Girardeau, Mo. brother, John T. of St. Louis, sister, Cecila Adelsberger of Freeman Spur; and two grandchildren.

Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter of Anna and a retired employee of the Anna Mental Health Center. She was born in Pope County, to Francis and Dora Stapleton Fritz.

She was married to Wayne Wilson on Jan. 19, 1946, in Piggott, Ark. He survives in Anna. Other survivors include three sisters, Lois McCIain of Central City, Laveda Pitts and Othell Fritz, both of Anna; and one brother, Earl Fritz of Cherokee, Okla. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Effie, Grace, Floy and Phyllis; and two brothers, Troy and Wayne.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with burial in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today. Walter Rainey Funeral services for Walter "Diz" Rainey, 57, of Herrin be held at 1 p.m.

today at Welge Funeral Home in Chester. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, with military services by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Rainey died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1982, in San Antonio, Texas.

He was retired from the Navy and was a member of the VFW and the Illinois Police Association. Born April 20, 1925, to Mr. and Mrs. Ren Rainey in Chester, Mr. Rainey married Betty Neville in Chester on Aug.

24, 1947. He is survived by his wife and his mother and by three sons, Duane, of Herrin, David, of Chicago, and Dale, of Houston, Texas. Also surviving are three sisters, Helen Cortum and Dorothy Alleman of Long Beach, and Fern Yetman of St. Petersburg, Fla. Opal Lotof Opel Lotof, 79, of C04 S.

22nd Herrin, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1982, at the Herrin Hospital in Herrin. She was born on May 20, 1903, to Francis and Gertrude Meadows. She was married to Invald Lotof for 30 years. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include three cousins, Freida Wilcox, Helen Iman Kelleher, and John Homer Kelleher of Marion. Funeral services will be at 1 r30 p.m. Monday at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin, with burial in the Marion City Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Joe Bob Ratliff Joe Bob Ratliff, 60, of Chula Vista, died at 12:05 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 1982, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in La Jolla, Calif. Mr. Ratliff was a drywall construction worker and a veteran of World War II.

He was born on May 8, 1922, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was married to Nellie Ramage on Nov 11, 1954, in Galveston, Texas. She survives in Chula Vista, Calif. Other survivors include three sons, Joe Bob Ratliff Jr. of Chula Vista, Michael Lee Ratliff of Mounds, and Rockie Ray of Splendora, Texas; one sister, Betty Boal of Bonita, six brothers, Roy of Rough and Ready, C.

B. of San Jose, John W. of Past Christian, James Humble of Texas, Donald of Chicago, Henry of Oklahoma City, mother-in-law, Hazel Ramage of Perks; and five grandchildren. 14, 1982, in Herrin Hospital. A retired mine examiner for Freeman United Coal Mr. Ranchino was a member of United Mine Workers local 9878, the Eagles Lodge in Herrin and the Ferges Free Methodist Church. Mr. Ranchino was born Sept.

17, 1910, in Jeffrey, 111., to Ornorio and Pierina Perichino Ranchino. He married Ruth Murphy on Nov. 3, 1934, in Herrin and is survived by George H. McCormick Jr. George H.

McCormick 56, of O'Fallon, died at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 1982, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. Mr.

McCormick was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, a retired railroad employee for the Norfolk and Western in Madison and a World War II Navy veteran. He was born on Feb. 12, 1926, in" Jacob, to Mr. and Mrs. George McCormick who survive.

He was married to Mayme H. McCormick, who survives in O'Fallon. Other survivors include one son, Michael McCormick of O'Fallon; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Darnell and Mrs. Patricia Loehring of O'Fallon, and Mrs.

Georgia Christopher of Casey ville; one sister, Ruth Woodworth of Vienna; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Schildknecht Funeral Home in O'Fallon, with burial in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Belleville. Daniel Clint Vinson Daniel Clint Vinson, 75, of rural Creal Springs, died at his home at 2:15 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 1982. A retired farmer, Mr. Vinson also was an Army veteran. He was born Nov.

22, 1906 in Johnson County to Daniel Clint Vinson and Sina Dillow Vinson. He married Ethel Williams on Feb. 7, 1931 in Tunnel Hill. Survivors include his wife and four daughters: Pauline Donelson and Frances Hunt of Creal Springs and Geneva Pike and Geraldine Doss of Marion. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, three brothers, Ralph Vinson of Tunnel Hill, Sollie Vinson of Creal Springs and Wayne Vinson of Marion, and two sisters, Osha Walker of Peoria and Maudie Brewer of Long Beach, Calif.

Mr. Vinson was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, his son, Donald, and by a grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cosby Funeral Home in Creal Springs and burial will be in Salem Cemetery south of Creal Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m.

Williams was a retired meat cutter. He was born June 16, 1894, in Williamson County to Perry and Millie Raines Williams. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna, and his second wife, Ludia. Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Wilson of West Frankfort; stepdaughter, Dorothy Wilson of West Frankfort; stepsons, Jim Hall of Booneville, Ind. and Gene Hall of New Orleans, 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, a daughter and a grandchild. Alonzo Craig Alonzo Craig, 88, formerly of Cob-den, died at 2:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 1982 at the Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro. Funeral services are pending at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cob-den.

Hattie Eddleman Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Anna for Hattie Eddleman, 78, of Anna who died Friday, Aug. 13, 1982, at Union County Hospital in Anna. Burial will be in the Dongola American Legion Cemetery. She was born July 9, 1904, in Union County to Marshall T.

and Bertha V. Davault Douglas. She married Eli Eddleman on Jan. 25, 1925. He survives.
