Bellett. 63, of 1413! IN. 13th Herrin, died at 8 p. m. Monday at his home after an illness of 14 years.

Mr. Bellett, a retired miner, was born Nov. 16, 1894, in Braid-wood, the son Emlie and Fe-licee DesCamp Bellett. He married the former Nell Metzger Feb. 22, 1919 at Herrin.

Mr. Bellett was a member of the Herrin First Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He leaves his wife; daughter, Mrs. Charles Ward of Herrin; brothers, Louis of Paducah, and A. C.

of Detroit, sisters, Mrs. Emilia Mitchell of Birmingham, two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church.

DELPHIA HARTKOPF DIES IN MARION Mrs. Delphia Hartkopf, 72, of 600 S. Market Marion, died at 6:10 a.m. today in Marion Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb.

7, 1800. She was married to the late Fred Hartkopf. She was formerly a telephone operator and was a member of the Third Baptist Church and Marion Rebekah Lodge 93. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Mitchell Funeral Home Marion.

The Rev. Robert Fu-son and the Rev. L. G. Hartley will officiate.

Burial will be in jiaplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. The Rebekah Lodge will conduct rites at the funeral home at Jp.m. Wednesday.

FORMER CARTERVILLE MAN DIES IN WYOMING G. W. Hardy of Sheridan, formerly of Carterville, died Mon day evening in Sheridan Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Hardy moved to Sheridan from Carterville 33 years ago.

He was a Wyoming state representative for three terms and worked in insurance and real es tate businesses. He was born near Eldorado. Mr. Hardy leaves his wife, the former Neva Lauder of Carter ville and son, Bill of Cody, Wyo. Funeral services and burial will be Wednesday in Sheridan.

and Mrs. John W. Williams. He was married in Murphysboro to the former Olivia Bige- lowe cf Steeleville. She died in 1953.

Mildred Frehler, all of Santa Ana and Robert Williams, Windsor. 13 grandchildren; sisters. Mrs. Carrie Stephens of Herrin and Miss Malinda Williams of Willisville. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church of Willisville and the Masonic Lodge of Steeleville.

He was a former coal miner. and belonged to the United Mine Workers of America. Mr. Williams died Oct. 22.

She was married to Carlo Bazzetta in 1899. He died May 3, 1945. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Herrin. She leaves a son, William of San Rafael, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Two sons, John and Alex, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. The Rev.
